Doyle Law, LLC was established in 2023 and officially opened in February 2024 by Rebecca N. Doyle, Esq., who was passionate and experienced in estates and trusts, employment, and business law. Our firm quickly grew by adding all-star employees who share Rebecca’s caring and compassionate nature and passion for assisting clients and their loved ones with planning for death and/or incapacity and assisting family members with estate administration.
Our team is committed to providing comprehensive legal services in the areas of Wills and Trusts (estate planning), Estate Administration, and Business Law. Our Founding Attorney
Rebecca’s Story
Discovering her passion, Rebecca was fortunate to work with prominent Delaware lawyers for over six years at a multi-state law firm, contributing significantly at its Lewes, Delaware office. There, she broadened her expertise in estates, trusts, and business law, while delivering premier services to clients. Throughout this period, Rebecca was recognized as a Delaware Today Top Attorney for five consecutive years, from 2019 to 2023.
After considerable thought and planning, Rebecca established Doyle Law, LLC, which officially opened its doors in February 2024. Her vision was to gather a team of like-minded, compassionate, and diligent professionals to deliver effective, efficient, and empathetic estate, trust, and business legal services.
Rebecca earned her JD from Widener University School of Law with cum laude honors (2012). She has been recognized as a Top Lawyer in Delaware Today for Estate, Probate & Trusts in 2019, 2020, 2021, 2022, 2023, and 2025.

Founding Attorney
Rebecca founded Doyle Law to deliver estate planning and business law services that are as compassionate as they are thorough. She is dedicated to making complex legal matters understandable for every client.
Samantha Mears, Esq.
Associate Attorney
Samantha, an award-winning attorney licensed in Delaware and Maryland, concentrates in estate, probate, and trust law. She utilizes her comprehensive legal background and active community leadership to provide clients with knowledgeable, trusted, and highly effective representation.
Melanie C. Burke, Esq.
Associate Attorney
Melanie is an associate attorney whose practice is concentrated in estate planning and administration, pre-marital agreements, and guardianships. She spent thirty years as a Deputy Attorney General with the Delaware Department of Justice, prosecuting cases in which the victims were children and the elderly, and that experience taught her how to put people from every walk of life at ease. A graduate of the University of Virginia and Emory University School of Law and a member of the Delaware Bar since 1990, Melanie genuinely likes people. She sees her clients as new friends and enjoys guiding them, with warmth and patience, through what can be an emotional conversation.
